Dr. Sara Prlja

Dr. Sara Prlja was born in Podgorica into a family of ENT specialists. She completed her primary and secondary education in Podgorica and spent the 2009/2010 school year as an exchange student at Warhill High School in Virginia, USA.

She graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 2017. During her studies, she gained international experience through a professional exchange at the Cheikh Zayed Hospital in Rabat, Morocco, where she trained in the Department of General Surgery as part of the IFMSA program.

In 2018, she began her specialization in otorhinolaryngology at the Clinical Center of Serbia, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She passed her specialist exam in July 2023, officially becoming an ENT specialist.

During her specialization, she developed a strong interest in head and neck plastic surgery, focusing on rhinoplasty, obstructive sleep apnea treatment, and phonosurgery.

She began her work in aesthetic medicine in 2019, completing extensive training in botulinum toxin, dermal fillers (basic and advanced levels), mesotherapy, biorevitalization, chemical peels, PRP therapy, and laser treatments. Dr. Prlja is also an educator for third-generation collagen stimulators – Juvelook and Lenisna.

She continuously advances her expertise through specialized education, including:

• Julie Horne’s Lips Masterclass (October 2023, Oslo, Norway) – Specializing in the art of natural and beautifully enhanced lips.
• Dr. Ayad Harb’s Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Masterclass (December 2024, London) – Focusing on advanced techniques for reshaping and contouring the nose.

In June 2024, Dr. Sara participated in the European ENT Congress in Dublin further expanding her knowledge in facial plastic surgery and sleep apnea treatment.

In November 2024, she opened her private practice, Dr. Prlja Medical, in Belgrade. Her clinic reflects her dedication to combining science and artistry to achieve natural, balanced results tailored to each patient.

Dr. Sara Prlja is an active member of several professional associations, including:
